Jungle Jump Jump

You control a character, often a monkey or a similar figure, who automatically moves from one side of the screen to the other. Your only job is to time your jumps from vine to vine as they swing into place. You press a key or click the mouse to leap, and a mistimed jump sends you falling into the void below. Along the way, you try to collect bananas that appear on some vines, which adds a small layer of choice to the basic rhythm of jumping. The pace starts slow but steadily increases, making the timing more demanding as you progress. It feels like a test of focus and reaction, where a single lapse ends your run.
