About Jump Sonic Jump 3

Jump Sonic Jump 3 was one of those Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s, a simple platformer that borrowed the look of Sega's character for a quick, browser based adventure. It fit right into that era of fan made games, where the goal was usually just to get from one side of the level to the other without much fuss.

You control Sonic, or a character very much like him, running and jumping through a series of side scrolling stages. The main objective is straightforward: reach the exit door in each level. To do that, you often need to find a key, which sometimes means using a hammer power up to smash through certain walls. You press the spacebar to make your character perform a special flying jump, a move you need to time carefully to avoid hazards like falling rocks or enemies. The game encourages speed, but the levels are short and the challenge comes more from instant obstacles than complex layouts. It feels like a brisk, slightly janky scramble from start to finish.
