About Ivan Drago

Ivan Drago was one of those Flash games that felt like a strange, unofficial piece of the internet in the late 2000s. It took the character from the Rocky movies and dropped him into a side-scrolling brawler. You didn't need to know much about the source material to get it; it was just a simple, straightforward action game you'd find on a portal site.

You control Drago himself, moving him left and right across a city street. Your basic actions are punching, blocking, and ducking. The goal is to walk from one end of the stage to the other, beating up every thug that gets in your way. Holding the punch button charges a more powerful attack, which is useful for tougher enemies. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from the sheer number of opponents that swarm you. It feels like a repetitive, almost rhythmic exercise in clearing a path through a crowd.
