About Icy Candy

Icy Candy was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the mid-2000s, a time when a browser could be a portal to a hundred little distractions. It didn't try to be anything grand. You just loaded it up and were immediately given a task.

You control a pair of hands, or sometimes just a cursor, at the bottom of the screen. The goal is straightforward: catch pastel-colored icicles as they fall from the top. You guide your catcher left and right, trying to slot each one into a matching colored tube. If you miss, the icicle shatters on the ground. The pace starts gently, but more icicles begin to fall, and sometimes they twist or speed up, forcing you to make quick decisions. It creates a quiet tension, a focus on keeping everything orderly and clean. The game feels like a test of simple, patient precision.
