Iconien

You control a small, stationary icon at the center of the screen. Waves of other icons, your enemies, drift in from the edges. Your only tool is a mouse-drawn box. You click and drag to encircle the hostile icons, and when you release, anything inside the box is destroyed. The challenge comes from their increasing numbers and speed. You have to be quick and precise, drawing tight shapes to pick off threats before they reach your central icon. The game has a quiet, persistent tension. It feels like a race against a slow, inevitable tide.
