About Ickibod And The Lost Bucket Of Sweets

Ickibod and the Lost Bucket of Sweets was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the mid 2000s. It had that simple, cartoonish look common to a lot of browser games from that time. You played as a little character named Ickibod, a kid dressed in a skeleton costume who had lost his Halloween candy.

You control Ickibod with the keyboard, moving him left and right and making him jump across platforms. The main goal is to get through each level and find the missing bucket. Along the way, you shoot at various Halloween creatures, like bats and ghosts, using a simple projectile. You also have to avoid other enemies or obstacles that you can't defeat. The levels are fairly short, but the timing for jumps and shots needs to be precise. It feels like a straightforward, brisk platformer where you're always moving forward to get the candy back.
