About Hunger Strike
Hunger Strike was one of those odd, memorable games from the Flash era. It came out in 2008, a time when you could find a game about almost anything. This one was developed by a studio called Kiz Studios, and it had a strange, specific premise. Instead of defending a castle with archers and mages, you were protecting a fast food restaurant from waves of hungry monsters.
You control the layout of the restaurant, placing different food stations like fryers and drink machines. Your job is to stop the monsters from reaching the counter and eating all the food. Each station automatically attacks the creatures as they shuffle past, and you earn money from defeated enemies to buy upgrades or new defenses. The pace starts slow but builds quickly, and the later waves become a frantic scramble to plug gaps in your greasy defense line. It feels like managing a chaotic dinner rush where the customers are literally trying to eat you out of business.
