Heli Storm

Heli Storm was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, engaging way to pass time in a browser. You took control of a helicopter with a simple, clear goal from the start.

You pilot the helicopter across a side-scrolling landscape, searching for stranded soldiers marked on your map. The core loop involves precise hovering to lower a rescue line, then carefully ferrying each soldier back to your base while avoiding enemy fire. Ground turrets and patrolling aircraft fire at you constantly, forcing you to weave and adjust your altitude. The challenge comes from managing your limited health while trying to complete each rescue efficiently. It creates a tense, focused rhythm of risk and reward as you navigate the hostile terrain.
