About Heli Invasion

Heli Invasion was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the mid-2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying way to pass a few minutes between tasks. The screen was simple, a static landscape with a clear sky, and the goal was immediately obvious.

You control a single turret fixed at the bottom of the screen. Your mouse directs its aim, and a left click fires. Waves of helicopters drift in from the right, moving slowly at first. Your job is to shoot them down before they cross the screen and escape past the left edge; each one that gets away damages your base. Between levels, a shop lets you spend earned points on upgrades like faster firing speed or more powerful shots. The pace steadily increases, introducing different colored helicopters that take more hits to destroy. It creates a basic but effective rhythm of aiming, clicking, and managing your limited defenses. The game feels like a focused test of your precision and timing under a gradually mounting pressure.
