About Heist Ii: Greed Is Hell

Heist II: Greed Is Hell was one of those games you'd find buried in the Flash portals of the mid-2000s. It fit right in with the simple, click-driven adventures that filled our browsers back then. The premise was straightforward, a familiar setup for anyone who spent time on those sites.

You control a thief from a top-down perspective, moving through a series of rooms. Your job is to open safes, grab cash and jewels, and avoid the guards patrolling the area. Interaction is purely mouse-based; you click to move your character and click again to interact with objects like doors and loot. The main objective is to steal everything in a level and reach the exit without being spotted. If a guard sees you, the alarm sounds and the level ends. The pacing is tense and methodical, as you often have to watch patrol patterns and wait for an opening. It feels like a careful, quiet puzzle where one wrong move resets your progress.
