About Hearts
Hearts was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find on Flash portals in the early 2000s. It didn't have a complicated backstory or a known developer, but it was a common sight for anyone browsing for a quick distraction. The game presented a clear, single-screen task that felt perfectly suited to the short sessions Flash games were known for.
You control a small, stationary Cupid figure at the bottom of the screen. Your only tool is a bow, and your only action is to aim and fire. Using your mouse, you line up a shot and left-click to launch a heart toward a series of floating, circular targets above. The main objective is to pop every target on the screen with a direct hit before you run out of hearts. The mechanics are minimal: you must account for the arc of your shot, and missing a target means you lose one of your limited projectiles. The pacing is steady, and the difficulty comes from the increasing precision needed as targets drift farther apart or require trickier angles. It feels like a quiet test of patience and simple geometry.
