About Goosehead Racing

Goosehead Racing was one of those straightforward drag racing games you'd find in the Flash era. It didn't try to be a simulation. You were just there to race, with simple controls and a clear goal. It fit right in with other quick, browser-based games from that time.

You control a dragster from the Goosehead team, lining up against a rival car. The moment-to-moment play is about managing your launch and shifts. You hold the spacebar for gas, tap the up and down arrows to change gears, and use other keys for the brake or parachute. The main objective is to win the race by reaching the finish line first. The pacing is fast; a race is over in seconds, and a mistimed shift can cost you the win. It feels like a concentrated burst of action, where your focus is entirely on the timing of a few key presses.
