About Goofy Gopher
Goofy Gopher was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the mid-2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, colorful distraction during a break. I remember playing it on a site that hosted dozens of similar titles, all with that familiar, slightly rough animation style.
You control a gardener defending a patch of flowers from a persistent gopher. The gopher pops up from different holes, and you have to click on him quickly to bonk him on the head and send him back underground. Your main goal is to protect the flowers long enough for them to fully bloom before the sun sets, which acts as a timer. The game speeds up as it goes, with the gopher appearing more frequently and from more holes, making you scramble to keep up. It feels frantic and silly, a test of simple reflexes against a cheerful pest.
