Girl Makeover 26

Girl Makeover 26 was one of those Flash games you'd find on a casual gaming site in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the era's simple, browser based dress up titles. You didn't need an account or a download, just a web browser with the plugin enabled.

You control the mouse to click on a character model. The main objective is to change her appearance through a series of menus. You select different hairstyles and colors from a palette, then pick out tops and bottoms from a clothing rack. The mechanics involve dragging accessories onto her, like necklaces or earrings, and using color sliders for makeup. The pacing is relaxed, with no timer or score to pressure you. It feels like quietly arranging parts of a paper doll on a slow afternoon.
