You control the mouse to interact with everything. Your job is to give a character a complete new look. You click on sections of her hair to change the style and color, then pick out a top and a skirt from a selection. You add details like lipstick and necklaces from menus on the side. The main objective is to apply all the available makeover items to finish the look. The game moves at a relaxed pace; there's no timer or score, just a series of choices to make. It feels like a quiet, methodical activity, a process of putting together an outfit piece by piece until you're satisfied.
