About Gimme Friction Baby

Back in the Flash era, you'd find a lot of simple, clever games built around a single idea. Gimme Friction Baby was one of those. It came out in 2008, made by a developer known as eyemaze. The whole thing ran in your browser, no downloads needed, which was pretty standard for the time.

You control a small turret that slides back and forth along the bottom of the screen. Your job is to keep colored balls from falling past that line. You click to launch a white ball upward, then click again to launch another. The core move is hitting your own shots together; a ball needs three collisions before it vanishes. The screen fills up quickly, and you're constantly judging angles and timing your clicks to keep the chaos in check. It gets difficult fast, demanding quick reflexes and a bit of foresight. The game feels like a tense, physical puzzle where every click sends ripples through the mess you're trying to manage.
