About Fugitive Takedown

Fugitive Takedown was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't have a complex story or elaborate graphics. You just got in a car and went after criminals. The controls were simple, mapped to a few keys, which made it easy to pick up during a short break. It fit right in with other quick-play titles from that time, where the goal was immediate, uncomplicated fun.

You control a police car from a top-down perspective. Your job is to chase down fleeing suspects and stop them by ramming their vehicles. You steer with the arrow keys, accelerate with one button, and brake or reverse with another. The main objective is to disable each target car before it escapes off the screen. The game moves quickly, and the suspects try to swerve away, so you have to anticipate their turns. It can get challenging as more cars appear, forcing you to manage your speed and angles carefully. The experience feels like a tense, focused pursuit where a small mistake can let your target get away.
