About Formula Fun
Formula Fun was one of those straightforward racing games you'd find on Flash game sites in the early 2000s. It didn't try to be a simulation. It was a quick, accessible experience you could load in a browser between other tasks, part of a wave of simple arcade titles that defined that era of casual web gaming.
You control a small, top-down car on a winding track. The moment-to-moment play involves steering with the arrow keys, trying to stay on the asphalt while managing your speed. The main objective is to complete laps as fast as possible, but you also kick other cars off the track for extra points. You can move forward, turn left or right, and slow down. The pacing is fast, and the physics are loose, making collisions and sharp turns feel unpredictable. It feels like a chaotic, slightly clumsy scramble where keeping your car pointed in the right direction is a constant, amusing challenge.
