About Flower Quest
Flower Quest was one of those quiet, thoughtful games that felt right at home in the Flash era. It arrived in 2007, a creation of developer Jonathan Whiting. You would find it on a portal site, a small window of green and color waiting to load.
You control a cursor, clicking and dragging to rotate the branching twigs that connect flower tiles. Your goal is to link two or more flowers of the same color, causing them to vanish and clear space on the board. The game asks you to think about angles and pathways, often requiring you to set up a chain reaction for the next move. The pace is deliberate, a slow puzzle rather than a race against time. It feels like untangling a knot in a gentle, methodical way.
