About Flooding
Flooding was one of those simple, absorbing games you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared around 2006, a time when a clever mechanic and a clear goal were often enough to keep you clicking for hours. You played as a small robot named Tobo, stranded in a town filling rapidly with water.
You control Tobo with the mouse, guiding him to jump between floating barrels. The water rises steadily, so each jump must be timed to land on the next barrel before the one you're on sinks. Missing a jump means falling into the water, and the pace quickens as you climb higher. The main objective is simply to survive, to see how high you can get before a mistimed click ends your run. It feels tense and focused, a quiet test of rhythm and precision against a relentlessly rising blue.
