About Flatbread Express
Flatbread Express was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the era's simple, click-driven simulations, where you ran a small business against a ticking clock. The presentation was straightforward, using basic graphics and clear sound cues to signal what was happening in your shop.
You control the shopkeeper, and your job is to assemble flatbread orders as customers appear. They request specific toppings, and you click to add each ingredient in the correct sequence before handing it over. The main objective is to serve as many customers as you can before the day ends, or before you run out of patience. Recognizable mechanics include clicking ingredients in a specific build order and managing a queue of waiting customers whose patience visibly drains. The pacing starts calmly but quickly becomes frantic as more customers arrive and their timers shorten. It feels like a race against your own clicking speed and memory.
