About Flash Rally

Flash Rally was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the early 2000s. It fit right in with the era's simple, direct arcade experiences, a quick racing fix you could load in a browser. The game didn't have a lot of frills, but it had a clear purpose.

You control a small, top-down rally car from an overhead perspective. Your job is to navigate a winding track marked by red and white cones. The arrow keys handle acceleration, braking, and steering, while the spacebar acts as a handbrake for sharper turns. The main objective is to complete each stage as fast as possible without hitting too many cones, which slows you down. The tracks get progressively more twisted, demanding quick reflexes and careful timing on the brakes. It feels like a constant push and pull between speed and control, a test of your ability to read the road ahead. The game moves at a brisk pace, and a single mistake can ruin a clean run. Driving well creates a satisfying rhythm of sliding through corners and accelerating down the straights.
