Fists Of The Metermaid

You control the meter maid from a side view, using the arrow keys to move and jump while the A and S keys handle your kick and punch attacks. The main objective is to hold your ground against waves of zombies that shamble in from both sides of the screen. You have to keep punching and kicking them back while also periodically turning to check the parking meters behind you; letting them expire for too long means a game over. The pacing is constant, with little room to rest as you juggle fighting off enemies and managing your meter-checking duties. It creates a frantic, almost comical feeling of being overwhelmed by mundane tasks in the middle of a zombie attack.
