About Escaping Paris 2

Escaping Paris 2 was one of those games you'd find buried in a Flash portal around 2009 or so. It had that particular look and feel, built from simple vector graphics and running directly in your browser. You were just a visitor killing time between other tasks, and this was a perfect distraction for ten minutes.

You control Paris, a small, stylized character trying to break out of a cartoonish jail. The moment to moment play involves walking from room to room with the arrow keys, looking for items and interacting with objects using the space bar. Your main objective is to solve a chain of simple inventory puzzles to find a way past the guards and locked doors. You might pick up a key to open a drawer, find a tool inside to disable an alarm, or combine objects in a logical sequence. The puzzles are straightforward and the difficulty is gentle, without any punishing dead ends. It feels like a quiet, methodical process of clicking things into place until your path forward is clear.
