About Elite wars
Elite Wars was one of those games you'd find buried in a Flash portal around the late 2000s. It fit right in with the era's simple, fast-paced strategy titles you could load in a browser. The game had a clean, functional look common to many Flash projects, focusing more on immediate play than complex visuals.
You control a squad of small, identical units from a top-down perspective. Your main goal is to eliminate all opposing forces on the map. You click to move your entire group, and they automatically engage any enemy units they encounter. Managing your formation is key; a tight cluster deals more damage but is vulnerable to being surrounded. The pace is quick, with matches often decided in a minute or two of constant repositioning and clashes. It feels like directing a swift, decisive skirmish where a single wrong move can scatter your forces.
