About Egg Catcher
Egg Catcher was one of those simple games you'd find on a Flash portal in the early 2000s. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. It was just there, a straightforward task to fill a few minutes between other things. You knew what you were getting into the moment you loaded it.
You control a small basket at the bottom of the screen, moving it left and right with your mouse. Eggs fall from the top, and you have to catch them. The twist is your basket can only hold five eggs at a time. Once it's full, you press the spacebar to dump them into a larger collection basket on the side, clearing your tray for more. The eggs fall faster as you progress, and if you miss five total, the game ends. It creates a steady rhythm of catching, emptying, and watching the sky. The game feels like a test of simple, focused coordination.
