Dynasty Warrior

You control a lone warrior moving through side-scrolling stages. You use the arrow keys to walk and jump, with a separate key for your basic attack. The main goal is to fight through waves of enemy soldiers to reach the stage boss. You have a standard combo, and sometimes a screen-clearing special move mapped to another key. The pacing is fast; enemies spawn constantly, and the challenge comes from managing crowds. It feels straightforward and relentless, a game built for quick sessions of button-mashing combat.
