About Duels Defense
Duels Defense was one of those tower defense games you'd find in the late 2000s, a time when Flash games were a regular part of browsing. It had a straightforward setup with a few distinct maps and a handful of character classes to pick from, which gave it a bit more personality than some of the simpler defenses out there. You didn't need an account or a download; you just clicked and started building.
You control a single hero, moving them around the map with your mouse to directly confront waves of enemies. Your main job is to stop these creatures from reaching your base, but you're not just a passive planner. You actively place towers along the path, dragging them from a menu to strategic choke points. Between waves, you use earned gold to upgrade your towers or purchase items for your hero, like weapons or potions. The pace is methodical, with moments of quiet planning followed by frantic clicks when a strong wave appears. It feels like a hands-on puzzle where your direct intervention often makes the difference between holding the line and watching your defenses crumble.
