About Dragons Hexa

Dragons Hexa was one of those puzzle games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it offered a clean, focused experience during a time when browser games were often quick distractions between other tasks. The presentation was straightforward, with a simple fantasy theme that didn't get in the way of the puzzles.

You control a cursor, clicking on colored gems arranged in a hexagonal grid. The core action is matching three or more of the same color in a row, either vertically or diagonally, to clear them from the board. A timer constantly counts down, pushing you to make matches quickly to add more seconds. Special blinking hexagons appear occasionally; clearing these triggers chain reactions, vaporizing large clusters of gems at once. The pace is insistent, rarely letting you pause for long, and the difficulty comes from managing the ever-dwindling time against the board's layout. It feels like a race against a quiet, persistent clock.
