About Dog Catcher
Dog Catcher was one of those simple, direct games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick distraction, the kind of thing you'd play for a few minutes between other tasks. The premise was straightforward, and it loaded in a browser almost instantly.
You control a small police car from a top-down perspective, driving along a suburban road. Your job is to find the dog catcher's van and stop it before it can take the dogs away. You steer with the arrow keys, weaving around slower traffic, and you have a weapon to disable the target van. The challenge comes from the traffic itself; you have to navigate carefully to avoid crashes while keeping pace. The game moves quickly, and a single mistake can force a restart. It feels like a brief, frantic chase where every second matters.
