About Dirt Bike

Dirt Bike was one of those straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared on many gaming sites, a simple title you could load in a browser and play for a few minutes between other tasks. The game didn't have elaborate menus or a complex backstory. It was just you, a bike, and a track.

You control a rider on a motocross bike. The goal is to get from the start to the finish of a side-scrolling level without crashing. You use the arrow keys to accelerate, brake, and tilt the bike forward or backward. The main challenge is managing your balance on the uneven terrain. You learn to lean back before a jump to avoid flipping over the handlebars, and to lean forward to land cleanly on the downslope. The physics feel weighty and deliberate; a mistake often sends you tumbling. The game moves at a steady pace, demanding focus on each bump and crest. It feels like a constant negotiation with momentum and gravity.
