About Diesel And Death

Diesel and Death was one of those games you'd find buried in the Flash libraries of the mid-2000s. It had that specific look, all flat colors and simple shapes, that made it feel like a sketch brought to life. You'd load it up on a school computer or during a slow afternoon, and for a few minutes, the world was just you, a bike, and a lot of scrap metal.

You control a rider on a heavy motorcycle, navigating a side-scrolling obstacle course built from wrecked cars and industrial debris. The main goal is straightforward: reach the finish line first. You use the arrow keys to accelerate, brake, and tilt your bike for landings. Hitting the spacebar activates a temporary power-up, like a speed boost or a shield, which you collect from crates scattered along the route. The tracks are short but packed with ramps and hazards, demanding quick adjustments. It moves fast, and a mistimed jump will send you tumbling, resetting you a few yards back. The game feels like a frantic scramble over a landscape that is actively trying to break your bike apart.
