About Dawn Of The Zombies
Dawn of the Zombies was one of those games you'd find buried in the Flash game portals of the late 2000s. It had that distinct, simple look common to many stick-figure animations from the era, and it ran right in your browser. You played as a lone survivor holed up in an apartment above a gun shop, looking out over a city called Stickopolis that was quickly being overrun.
You control your character with the mouse, aiming and shooting at the zombies that shamble into view from the streets below. The spacebar reloads your weapon, and you can switch between different guns using the number keys. Your main goal is straightforward: survive each night by holding off the waves of undead. The pacing starts slow but builds tension as more zombies appear and your ammo runs low. You have access to a powerful cannon for tougher moments, activated with the Z key. It feels like a tense, repetitive vigil, watching the streets and managing your limited resources while the horde never seems to end.
