About Cosmic Crush
Cosmic Crush was one of those games you'd find in the late 2000s, tucked away on a Flash game portal. It fit right in with the era's simple, physics-based concepts, a quick distraction between other tasks. I don't recall who made it, but it had that familiar, unpolished charm of a lot of browser games from that time.
You control a small planetoid with the arrow keys, drifting through a field of other celestial objects. Your goal is to grow by absorbing anything smaller than you. The immediate challenge is avoiding the pull of larger planets and asteroids, which can destroy you on contact. You nudge your way around the screen, carefully planning a path to chain together collisions with smaller rocks. The pace is deliberate, almost tense, as a single mistake ends your run. It feels like a cautious dance in zero gravity, where every move needs to be measured.
