About Clear Them Monsters
Clear Them Monsters was one of those straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying puzzle. You'd load it up in your browser, and it was ready to go without any fuss.
You control a cursor that clicks on groups of monsters. The goal is to clear the entire board of them. The main mechanic is creating chain reactions; clicking a monster makes it disappear, and if it was touching others of the same color, they vanish too. This sets off satisfying cascades. The challenge comes from the level's layout and the limited number of clicks you're given. Some levels require careful planning to set off the biggest chains. The pacing is methodical, not frantic. It feels like untangling a knot with a few well-placed tugs.
