About Clay Pigeon Hunter
Clay Pigeon Hunter was one of those straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick way to pass a few minutes. The game presented a basic shooting gallery setup, a common format for web games at the time.
You control a crosshair with your mouse, moving it across a static outdoor scene. Your only action is to click the left mouse button to fire at the clay discs launched from a trap house. The objective is simply to break as many as you can before they fly off screen. The pacing starts slow, giving you time to line up shots, but the speed and frequency of the launches gradually increase. Missing a few in a row ends the game. It feels like a test of simple, reactive precision, a quiet focus on the timing of a single click.
