About Chav Buster

Chav Buster was one of those games you'd find buried on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the era's simple, often satirical browser games that didn't take themselves too seriously. The premise was straightforward, playing on a specific cultural stereotype for its humor.

You control a cursor, moving it around the screen to click on characters that appear. Your targets are stylized figures meant to represent the "chav" archetype, often appearing in tracksuits and distinctive poses. The core loop is reactive; you wait for them to pop into view, then click on them quickly to make them vanish. The objective is simply to clear each wave as it comes, with the pace gradually increasing. It gets frantic as more figures appear from different sides of the screen, testing your speed and accuracy. The whole thing feels like a silly, repetitive stress reliever, a quick distraction built on a simple mouse-click reflex.
