About Caribean Pirates

Caribbean Pirates was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared on many gaming portals, a simple title you could load in a browser and play for a few minutes between other tasks. The presentation was basic, with colorful, cartoonish graphics that fit right in with other casual games of that time.

You control a pirate ship from a top-down perspective, sailing around a confined map of ocean. Your immediate goal is to survive by destroying the other ships that constantly spawn and chase you. You maneuver with the arrow keys, trying to keep distance while firing cannonballs with the spacebar. The other ships are persistent; they follow you doggedly, making it a game of constant movement and positioning. The pacing is insistent, not giving you much room to pause. It feels like a tense, perpetual skirmish on open water.
