About Bumper Ball
Bumper Ball was one of those simple games you'd find during the Flash era, a time when a quick browser tab could become a physics playground. It didn't need a complicated story or fancy graphics. You just loaded it up and were immediately dropped into a small, enclosed arena with a ball and an opponent.
You control a circular paddle, moving it with the arrow keys to nudge a larger ball toward your opponent's goal. The main objective is straightforward: score more points than the other paddle, which is either controlled by the computer or a second player. Your primary tool is the bump, a quick shove that transfers momentum to the ball. You learn to angle your shots, using the walls for rebounds and trying to outmaneuver the opposing paddle's blocks. The pacing is fast, with matches often decided by a single, well-placed hit after a series of rapid exchanges. It feels like a condensed game of air hockey, where every touch matters and a slight miscalculation can send the ball rolling back toward your own net.
