About Bugs n Bugs

Bugs n Bugs was one of those straightforward two-player puzzle games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, shared screen experience, something to figure out with a friend on a single computer. The presentation was simple, with a clear grid and colorful bugs, focusing entirely on the puzzle at hand.

You control one of the bugs, moving it tile by tile with mouse clicks. The main goal is to guide your bug to its matching colored pair somewhere else on the board. The central mechanic involves the colored tiles themselves. Moving onto a tile opens all the doors between tiles of that same color, creating new pathways. This can let your bug, or even your opponent's bug, slide through an entire chain of open doors automatically. Sometimes, if two doors are open on a tile, your bug might get sent backward, adding a layer of planning. The game moves at a steady, thoughtful pace, where a single move can completely change the board. It feels like a quiet battle of wits, where you're constantly calculating paths and trying to outmaneuver the other player.
