About Bubbles 2
Bubbles 2 was one of those simple games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be complicated. You just loaded it in your browser and started playing. The visuals were clean, with bright colors against a dark background, and it ran smoothly on most computers. It fit right in with other casual games from that time, the kind you played for a few minutes between tasks.
You control a small cannon at the bottom of the screen, aiming with your mouse. Your job is to clear the field of all the colored bubbles hanging above. You shoot new bubbles from your cannon, trying to connect them to groups of the same color. When three or more of the same color touch, they pop and disappear. The main challenge comes from the ceiling slowly descending, pushing the bubbles closer to your cannon. If they reach the bottom, the game ends. The pace is steady, and the difficulty builds gradually as the patterns become more crowded. It feels satisfying to watch a chain of bubbles vanish with a single well-placed shot.
