About Bubble Shooter
Bubble Shooter was one of those games you'd find on a Flash game portal in the early 2000s. It was simple, accessible, and loaded in a browser window. You didn't need an account or a download. You just clicked and started playing, often during a break or while waiting for something else to load. It fit right into that era of casual, instant entertainment.
You control a small cannon at the bottom of the screen, aiming it with your mouse. Your job is to clear the screen of the colored bubbles hanging above. You fire bubbles from your cannon, trying to connect three or more of the same color. When you make a match, those bubbles pop and disappear. If you manage to pop bubbles that are supporting others, those unsupported ones fall away too, which is satisfying. The main objective is to clear all the bubbles before they descend too far. The pace is steady, but the difficulty ramps up as the ceiling of bubbles gets lower and the colors become more varied. It feels like a quiet, focused puzzle where each shot requires a bit of planning and a bit of luck.
