About Bubble Gum Run
Bubble Gum Run was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the mid-2000s, a simple distraction during a study break or a slow afternoon. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, colorful platformer, and that was part of its charm. You'd load it up in your browser, and within seconds you were jumping.
You control a little character, often just a blob or a simple figure, running through side-scrolling levels. The main goal is straightforward: you need to collect pieces of bubble gum, or sometimes entire rolls of Bubble Tape, scattered around each stage. The controls are basic, using the arrow keys to move and the spacebar to jump over gaps and onto platforms. A timer counts down, pushing you to move quickly but carefully, as falling or missing a jump means starting the section over. The levels are short, but the platforming can get precise, especially when you're trying to grab the last piece of gum with only a few seconds left. It feels like a race against the clock in a candy-colored world.
