Brink Of Alienation Substance

You control a character navigating through a series of hostile, industrial environments. Moment to moment, you use the mouse to aim and shoot at robotic enemies, while the spacebar lets you duck behind cover or stand back up. Reloading is a constant necessity, mapped to the R key. The main objective is to survive the gauntlet, moving from one area to the next, clearing out threats. The pacing is deliberate, with stretches of tension broken by sudden firefights. It feels like a methodical, sometimes claustrophobic, struggle to push forward through a malfunctioning world.
