About Bound Bear
Bound Bear was one of those simple, direct games from the Flash era. You'd find it on a portal, load it up in a browser window, and be playing within seconds. It didn't need a complicated backstory or elaborate graphics to pull you in.
You control a small bear cub, separated from its mother. The core action is using your mouse to click and launch the cub through the air, aiming for a series of floating platforms. You have to manage the cub's momentum, timing each jump to avoid falling into the void or colliding with obstacles. The main objective is to guide the cub upward, platform by platform, until it reaches the waiting mother bear at the top. The physics feel loose and bouncy, making each launch a small gamble. It starts gently but gets trickier as the gaps widen and the platforms move. Playing it feels like a quiet, repetitive puzzle of angles and timing.
