Born To Be Big

You control a fish with your mouse, swimming it around a single screen. Your goal is to grow by eating smaller fish that appear. The moment to moment play involves carefully maneuvering to catch these fish while constantly avoiding larger predators that can eat you instead. You need to watch your size; eating certain objects like bones or trash doesn't help you grow and can waste precious time. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty comes from the screen quickly filling with both food and threats. It feels like a tense, continuous scramble to survive just a little longer.
