About Boom Search
Boom Search was one of those straightforward word games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a clean, functional puzzle, and that was its appeal. You loaded it in a browser, and it was ready to go.
You control a cursor, scanning a grid packed with letters. Your job is to find and click on all the words from a given list, which are hidden horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Each found word gets crossed off. The mechanics are simple: spot the word, click the first letter, drag to the last, and release. Some levels introduce a timer or a limited number of hints, which quietly increases the pressure. The pace starts gently but can become quite demanding as the grids get larger and the word lists more obscure. It feels like a focused, methodical hunt where a moment of clarity lets you clear a whole section at once.
