About Beaver Dive
Beaver Dive was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick distraction, the kind you'd play for a few minutes between other tasks. The visuals were basic, with a beaver character and a scrolling underwater scene that felt typical for the time.
You control the beaver, diving down through the water column. Your goal is to collect pearls from clams scattered along the seabed. The immediate challenge comes from the sea life. Fish, jellyfish, and a persistent shark patrol the area, and touching any of them ends your dive. You use the arrow keys to navigate, constantly weaving between threats while aiming for the next pearl. The game has a steady, insistent pace; the longer you stay down, the more crowded the screen becomes. It feels like a tense balancing act between gathering points and avoiding a sudden, clumsy end.
