About Beach Doll
Beach Doll was one of those simple dress-up games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quiet, personal activity for a few minutes. You would load it up in your browser, and the screen showed a character waiting for your choices.
You control the mouse to click through menus of clothing and accessories. The moment-to-moment play involves selecting items like swimsuits, hats, or jewelry from side panels and dragging them onto the doll. The main objective is simply to create an outfit you find pleasing. There is no timer or score, just a cycle of browsing, placing, and swapping items until you're satisfied. The pacing is entirely your own, and the difficulty is nonexistent, which makes it feel more like sorting through a wardrobe than playing a conventional game. It feels like a small, private exercise in composition.
