About Beach Assault
Beach Assault was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, engaging way to spend a few minutes. The game had a simple, functional look common to many browser-based titles from that time.
You control a stationary gun emplacement, using your mouse to aim and fire at incoming soldiers and vehicles. Your goal is to stop the enemy forces from reaching your position and overrunning the beach. The mechanics involve leading your shots against moving targets and managing your ammunition, as your gun can overheat if you fire too rapidly. Waves of infantry and occasional armored units approach from the sea and the sand, forcing you to prioritize threats. The pacing is relentless, with little downtime between assaults, and the difficulty builds steadily as the invasion intensifies. It feels like a tense, reactive test of your aim and composure under a constant, simple pressure.
